Joe Fumo

Joe Fumo was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on a partly funny day in 1954, and 22 years later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He began his writing career as a newspaper reporter in Wisconsin and New Jersey before being lured into public relations in Manhattan, where he was overworked and overpaid. He spent the next 30 years as a business writing consultant based in Milwaukee and now lives peacefully in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
