Chris Robé

Christopher Robé is a professor of Film and Media Studies at Swamp University. He researches how various social movements utilize media activism in their wider practices and collective organizing. He writes the blog, Dispatches from the Academic Trenches, to chronicle the reactionary attacks against public higher education and resistance to it. You can find the blog here: dispatchesfromtheacademictrenches. Look it up on a search engine.

He also thinks the documentary, Union (2024), is rad. It chronicles the first unionized workspace at an Amazon warehouse in Staten Island, NY. The film has not received commercial distribution for fear of upsetting this crappy company that you find me utilizing right now. Check out the film here: unionthefilm . Down with the corporate overlords.
