Alan B. Berkowitz

Alan B. Berkowitz was born in New York City, has lived in various parts of the U.S. and has traveled throughout the world. He is a diverse writer. His last work was a compilation of short stories and poems, "Confessions of a Jewish Santa," Prior to that, he compiled a six year monthly family newsletter called "The Rock Candy Gazette" and a how-to-survive book, "Skyjack 9-11!" which he co-authored with Prof.Andrei Aleinikov, PhD soon after the tragedy. “The Jazz Girls and the Flyboy” is his second venture at co-authoring. Berkowitz authored several other magazine and technical articles during and following his career as a corporate executive and management consultant. He is a professional pianist, a caricaturist, and he has also acted in leading roles in local theatrical productions. He is a member of the Woodlands Writer’s Guild and the Screen-writers Club. Berkowitz is Jewish, and currently resides with his wife, Inez, in The Woodlands suburb of Houston, Texas, near their daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons Connor and Logan.
