Cindi G. Brown

Cindi Brown grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia, surrounded by a large family of talkers, readers and storytellers. Her love of writing started early, around 8 years of age, and followed her through adulthood as she earned a bachelors degree in journalism and then a masters in communication from Georgia State University. She started her career as a journalist in Atlanta for ten years and then spent 20+ years in marketing roles for Fortune 500 corporations, which allowed her to pursue her passion for writing, and being creative, while she continued honing her writing skills in her spare time. She traveled to Kenya in 2005 as a volunteer and was inspired to write about her experiences in "Poverty and Promise." Cindi is always working on the next book, so stayed tuned for upcoming releases.
