Dr. Meyer J. van Rensburg
Dr. Meyer van Rensburg was born again in 1982 and has been studying God's Word
ever since. He is a travelling teacher who loves ministering under the anointing.
He attended Bible school in 1985/86 and then continued his studies to obtain the following degrees: Bachelor of Theology, Master of Christian Counselling, Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry (all from Christian International) and Master of Theology from Bangor, Wales. God has called him as a teacher of the Word and he was the founder and president of Covenant Bible Training Centre in Johannesburg. Dr. Meyer was a freelance presenter at Radio Pulpit in South Africa up till 2004 and presented various programmes such as "Mosaic," "Bible Crossword," "Light before Midnight," "Music and the Word," and also the very popular, "Running the Race," where he interviewed Christian
sportsmen on Friday mornings.
His previous books, "Brother to Brother," and "A Dwelling Place for God" are
handbooks for the study of Covenants and the Tabernacle of Moses, respectively. His two more recent books are: "God & sons: A Study in the Fatherhood of God" and the series on "Images of Christ in Genesis" Volumes One, Two and Three.
He writes extensively, regularly contributing articles to Christian magazines and is also a popular conference speaker. Since 2004 he has been lecturing in the UK, where he has taught on television from time to time, and he travels worldwide.
He is married to Lorraine and they are the proud parents of five daughters and six grandchildren.
Meyer used to be a sound engineer until he went full-time into the ministry.
He paints in oils, writes poetry, does woodwork and gardening. His favourite
Scripture is Galatians 2:20:
"I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
Christ lives in me: and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live
by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself
for me."
