I'm a 60-something woman who loves the great outdoors. Besides writing, I spend my time roaming the hills and mountains in Northern Utah, making pottery, and enjoying life with my husband of 40 plus years and creating community art events.
My husband and I taught school in a K-10 two-room school with 24 students in the small town of Grouse Creek. The nearest grocery store was sixty miles away and most of the road was dirt and windy (still is). Much of my writing was inspired by the six years we spent living there. Now we live in Cache Valley, Utah. My first three books "A Question of Trust," "False Pretenses" and "Sun Tunnels and Secrets" were inspired by the years living in this unusual and extremely rural small community.
Since 1964, I've visited Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding areas. My book Poaching Daisies is set in the small community of Silver Gate, Montana and surrounding areas. It's a mystery/suspense page turner with delightful characters.
My latest edition of Just Shy of Paradise is set in the charming town of Paradise, Utah. The book intertwines the past histories of the Shoshone Native Americans and pioneer settlers with a modern day romance/suspense.
