Robin Berry

Robin has been a professional artist for 38 years. Her first artistic life began in 1975 as a porcelain potter and lasted almost 20 years. In that time, she became a nationally recognized porcelain artist. Her distinctive white-on-white pieces, with birds and flowers as themes, were exhibited and sold in galleries and shops across the country. In 1990 Robin's second artistic life emerged as she changed her direction and her medium from porcelain to painting, focusing exclusively on transparent watercolor. Today, her paintings are regularly juried into national shows.

Robin has written and published two books:

"How to Paint Watercolor Flowers." Reader's Digest/Quarto

"Watercolor Secrets: over 200 tips and techniques for painting the easy way." Reader's Digest/Quarto

In addition, Robin has written the first chapter in North Light's book, also titled "Watercolor Secrets: an inside look at the techniques of award winning Splash artists."

She is published in Splash 7, 9, 10, 11 and 13, North Light.
