Susan DiMickele

Susan DiMickele is the consummate working mother. As a trial lawyer and mother of three young children, she is constantly juggling two very different worlds. Like a switch, she’s on or she’s off. In a matter of minutes she goes from her corner office, navy suit, and high heels… to sibling rivalry, poopy diapers, and soiled clothing. Sometimes she feels like two different people. Chasing Superwoman paints a candid and compelling picture of the practical, ethical, and spiritual struggles of being a working mother in a fast-paced, successful career.

Like a Seinfeld episode, Susan looks at everyday, mundane experiences and finds the humor, helping the reader to see herself and even begin to laugh as she realizes she’s not alone. “Hey, I’m not the only one who feels like a bad mommy when my cell phone won’t stop ringing in the pediatrician’s office.”

While Susan strives to be at the top of the legal profession, her greatest accomplishment and challenge is partnering with her husband Doug to raise Nicolas, Anna, and Abigail -- to know and love God. She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her family.
