Ronan G. Heaney

Mr. Heaney is the Director of Research at Westpeak Global Advisors. At Westpeak, he first was a software programmer developing Westpeak's portfolio management and trading applications. Seeing the need for more robust research capabilities he designed and built Westpeak's proprietary research systems. At that point, his interests grew behond that of software and he joined the research group and emersed himself in the financial research literature. Currently, he directs investment research activities and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Before joining Westpeak in 1998, he was Software Architect at Multum Information Services in Denver. From 1992 to 1996, he was a Senior Software Developer at Swiss Bank Corporation, in Chicago, where he developed and supported global equity options/futures trading systems. Mr. Heaney received an M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University, where he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Dublin City University, Ireland.
