Edward L. Pinhey

Edward Pinhey (Ned) is the author of seven novels. His latest is Sergeant Jamie.

After the Navy, Ned was a Los Angeles Police Officer and Detective.

At the height of the Watts Riots of 1965, Ned and his partner vowed to become lawyers. Both made it. Ned graduated from Law School Cum Laude and was admitted to the California Bar in 1971. He left LAPD to be both lawyer and CEO for the Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff's Association.

He took a four-year hiatus from law practice as VP Operations of a motor home and bus manufacturer. He sold out of that business and practiced law in Santa Maria, California for fifteen years during which he regularly served as Superior Court Judge pro tempore.

He retired from law after he lost his hearing and now writes in his home outside Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers, California.
