Brian Sellars b. 1941. I was born and raised in a suburb of Sheffield that overlooks the glorious Peak District to the west and Sheffield's fiery industry to the east. At age 15 I started work in the steelworks as an apprentice electrician before embarking on a career in sales and sales management. This took me around the world numerous times, selling to oil companies, civil engineers and national governments, mainly in the Far East and Australasia.
My first novel, THE WHISPERING BELL, is a historical fiction set in the Peak District in Anglo Saxon times. It was spotted by my publisher on the writers' website, YouWriteOn.com. My second, TUPPENNY HAT DETECTIVE, is very different, being a nostalgic detective story set in Sheffield in 1951. DANCE FLOOR DROWNING is the sequel to this and the second in a trilogy which includes MOTHER GOOSE MURDERS. The series has had some lovely reviews and lots of generous star ratings. TIME ROCKS is a Sci-Fi, time travel story written for teenage and adult readers. I thoroughly enjoyed writing this book as it gave me a great excuse for exploring Stonehenge and researching the Stone Age.
Many thanks if you've read my work and an extra special thank you if you took the trouble to review it. Readers comments are really important to me - even the grumpy ones.
Thank you and my very best wishes to you.
