Oleg Mikhilovic Boyarkin, Professor of Theoretical Physics,
Belarus State Pedagogical University (Minsk, Belarus).
The course of life: school, army, University, teaching and researching.
Hobby: mounting climbing, alpine skiing.
Research works are devoted to elementary particle physics. He proposed the electroweak interaction model unifying all the
possible models with the left right symmetry (Phys. Rev. D
50, 2247 (1994)), offered the explanation of the muon
anomalous magnetic moment within this model (Phys. Rev. D
70, 113010 (2004)), predicted the correlation of the solar
neutrino flux with the solar flares (Phys. Rev. D 53, 5298
(1996)).
International Soros Science Education Program has awarded him the title "Soros Associate Professor". In 2006 his science biography has been included in "Who's Who in Science and Engineering" (9th Edition, Marquis Who's Who). In 2007 the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge has awarded him the nomination as "International Scientist of the Year". In 2008 his science biography has been included in 25th Silver Anniversary Edition of "Who's Who in the World" (Marquis Who's Who).
