James Bartlett Parry

Jim Parry was born in Boise, Idaho, but somehow found his way to Spokane, Washington at age four. He has spent the rest of his life there, earning his BA at Eastern Washington University and an MA from Whitworth University. Jim retired from Spokane Public Schools after teaching middle school for 30 years and then tutoring for five more years. He has had two short stories published in SPOKE WRITE, The Spokane/Coeur d' Alene Journal of Art and Writing. BOOK ALL THE TEACHERS! is his first book. He currently resides on Spokane's Northside with his wife, Lynda, and their two cats.
