Jenni James. She’s an incredible force to be reckoned with—with over 50+ books and

several screenplays. Jenni’s determined to recreate the entertainment industry and

provide more clean, family-friendly content with incredible men and women and

inspirational stories that touch hearts and change lives. Stories that make you laugh,

cry, engage, and inspire. She calls it ‘teaching without preaching.’

After years—frustrated with subpar entertainment: Dopey dads, teens without morals,

crude humor, and often frustrating character arcs, blasé writing which was only meant

to capture the moment but not truly resonate—Jenni has decided to use her writing

superpowers for good and bring light, joy, hope and family-centered growth to a very

struggling entertainment structure.

Why not incorporate comedy with beautiful messages that inspire and leave you

Jenni is known as a beloved author for her bestselling, diverse, clean works in adult,

young adult, and children's genres. A few of her series include The Jane Austen Diaries

their college football team to come back and win from insurmountable odds in one of

The Wright Way—The inspiring true story of music composer Benjamin Wright, Jr.

and how he became one of modern music's incredible legends working with artists such

as Justin Timberlake, Outkast, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Gladys Knight, Earth,

Wind and Fire, Whitney Houston... any many more. 

Nothin' for Christmas—It's Home Alone meets Sister Act in this zany, hilarious

family Christmas movie starring Quinton Aaron (Big Mike from The Blindside)

him doesn't mean they can't. It's hard, it's raw, it's beautiful, and so very, very healing.

These are just a fraction of the projects Jenni has in the works. She currently has nearly

40 screenplays written—teen, family, romance, drama, historical, as well as a couple of

compelling TV series.

MORE ABOUT JENNI

Jenni has taught writing, screenwriting, and marketing workshops and classes at many

conferences around the United States and overseas. She loves to speak in schools and

inspire students to follow their dreams.

She has an ongoing curriculum-based series of books for ESL (dual language

immersion) and has not only written them for early-readers and students, but she is

illustrating them as well.

Jenni is an award-winning professional artist and has sold over seventy paintings

around the world. Children's portraits are her specialty. There is nothing she loves more

than to pull out her paints on a Sunday afternoon and create.

Jenni and her happy husband have a plethora of children. Seven are hers from her first

marriage, three are his, and together they have adopted a little one.
