Brenda Payne

Brenda is passionate about inspiring, equipping and training women in the personal ministry of the Word and problem solving discipleship. She was the first woman to be certified with the Association of Biblical Counselors in the state of Alabama where she ministered to women for more than 20 years. She is currently a “volunteer” for Jesus in her new hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee where she counsels and conducts lay counseling training at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga. Brenda is completing her Master’s of Biblical Counseling from Faith Seminary with an emphasis on lay counseling training and helping families of addicts. She graduated from Troy University and enjoyed her time as a television news anchor and reporter. Brenda is a founding member of KNOWN ministries which inspires, equips and trains women to apply God’s word to be disciples and make disciples through the local church. Brenda has been married to her husband Paul since 1990 and they have three grown children. Brenda is an "otter" who enjoys people and play!
