Ben Fletcher

Ben is a Professor of Occupational, Organisational and Health Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and was also a Professor of Fashion at Istanbul Bilgi University in Turkey up to October 2014.. He has been Head of Psychology twice and Dean of the business school, as well as having been instrumental in exporting UK education globally. He is the founder of the groundbreaking approach to personal and organisational change known as Do Something Different that is transforming how we view behaviour change. Do Something Different puts the emphasis on using new small behaviours as a lever for making major change, instead of trying to change thinking directly through information, education or cognitive therapies. He has published extensively and has a very broad range of publications and books. Do Something Different has transformed the lives of thousands and is used in public health, organisational training and development, as well as being directly available to people in 'Do Happiness', 'Wear Something Different' and other programmes available via dsd.me. He thinks that transformations in lives is harder, deserves more 'credit', and is more useful for society, than much that passes for education.
