Carol Clark

Carol Foster Clark is having fun writing books using her grandkids as main characters. Three years at Cornerstone University backed up her BA and teaching certification from Western Michigan University. She and her husband presently direct a campground church during the summer. She is also a workplace chaplain and a hospice volunteer chaplain. Visit her website at www.carolsartcorner.com.

Her first book, "Eternity Express" used a little girl and a train to explain forgiveness and eternal life. It has been translated for missionaries. It lets kids cut out and put together their own Ticket to Heaven for a hands-on-experience with John 3:16. She used her granddaughter Grace for the little girl in the story, so she says, "It's about God's grace and my Grace". The release date was even on Grace's birthday.

Her second book, 'Woof Tales & Bullies (In a Nic of Time)" used her grandson Nic and his dog Hannah to help children face bullies, knowing that Jesus is with them.

Her third book, "The Singing and Dancing Girl," using her red-haired granddaughter Abby, is a get up and have fun book to help kids sing and dance to the Lord.

Her fourth, almost finished book, "Cousins and the Campground Crime,"is about five cousins who love getting together, especially at the campground with Grandma and Grandpa, UNTIL a necklace comes up missing! Then there are accusations and bad attitudes as they try to solve the mystery. Carol used five kids in this book, hoping to cover the rest of her grands. Then one of her boys had TWINS this last Christmas. There will be more books, I'm sure.

Before these books, Carol had illustrated two books for Paint Creek Press under her former name, Carol Martin. These were "Summer of the Bear" and "Eagle from the Dawn" by Leigh Arrathoon. "Summer of the Bear" won the Michigan Historical Society Award for 2007.
