Damon D. Hickey

Damon D. Hickey is a retired historian and college librarian who has published books in the fields of history, archives, and librarianship. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Rice University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Arts in history from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Doctor of Philosophy in history from the University of South Carolina. He has been a Presbyterian minister, a Quaker, and is now an Episcopalian. He was the associate library director and curator of the Friends Historical Collection at Guilford College for 16 years, and the director of libraries at the College of Wooster for 17.
