Bobbi has been sewing all her life and quilting since 1987. She makes prize-winning quilts and is proud to have a quilt in the collection of the American Museum of Folk Art in New York. Her work has appeared in major shows and has been published in various books and magazines. Her love for exploring the history of quilts and their makers has led her to actively participate in the American Quilt Study Group, having served as a board member and co-curator of the study quilt exhibits. She enjoys reproducing antique quilts and also reinventing old quilts in new contemporary ways. She has enjoyed working collaboratively over the years with her friend, Carol Gilham Jones of Lawrence, Kansas, which led to co-authoring two books, Tile Quilt Revival: Reinventing a Forgotten Form (C&T Publishing 2010) and Fresh Perspectives: Reinterpreting 18 Classic Quilts from the International Quilt Study Center and Museum (C&T Publishing 2012). Bobbi lives in San Jose, California with her cat, Thomas. Follow her blog at http://bobbifinleytilequilts.blogspot.com/
