Marcus Rowe

A native of Shawnee, KS, Marcus Rowe has been writing since the age of 9, although at that time he was composing his first instrumental music composition on the piano. Hundreds of songs later, music would lead Marcus to Nashville, TN to study Commercial Music at Belmont University, where he graduated with honors in 1994.

After more than a decade in various aspects of Broadcast Media and Radio Syndication, and in the heart of thirty-something, the written word began to flow from his pen. As the ideas piled up, Marcus decided to form his own company, Nectar Media, and focus on creative services and writing.

Goodnight Fingers, Goodnight Toes is but the first in a line of planned projects including various books, t-shirts, greeting cards, and other design projects. The book was inspired by the birth of his boy/girl twins, Samuel & Sophia, in 2002. In fact, the twins are pictured on the dedication page of the book. In addition to writing the verse that flows throughout the book, Marcus personally did all of the graphic design and layout, as well as sifting through literally thousands of stock photographs and securing just the right ones.

Currently, Marcus makes his home in Nashville, TN with his wife and three kids, Liv, Samuel, and Sophia, along with a 20-pound cat and several fish. His web site and blog can be seen at NectarPress.com.
