G. W. Riley

G W Riley, a doting husband, father and grandfather, and lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, is a man of many diverse hobbies and interests, who began working at age 12, at everything from car wash attendant, bricklayer helper, guitar teacher, truck driver, crane operator, machinist, and diesel mechanic, to a career as an Investigator conducting background investigations for federal security clearances.

The books "Suicide Cap" and "The Incomplete...guide to Hunting" both began as notes, sketches, and story lines scribbled in old tablets written while recovering from surgery in 1989. These works then lay dormant in a desk drawer until 2008, when at the urging of his children and grandchildren, he began working on the stories again with the books finally being published in 2008 & 2014 respectively. Publishing had previously never crossed his mind, the books meant only as some small part of him to hand down to his grandkids eventually. Were it not for the urging of his grandchildren and some inspiration from an old friend, George Shuman, the books would most likely have forever remained forgotten and unfinished in the desk drawer.
