II. Spiritual Transformation for The Damaged Heart through Intimacy with God.

"Now, with God's help, I shall become myself" - Soren Kierkegaard Sometimes the pain and aftermath of child abuse and neglect are expressed and manifested in physical ailments in the body. Because the child's voice was silenced during the period of violation it looks for other means of expression in adulthood. Healing the abused and neglected child of the past after becoming an adult is a process. Through the process of Intimacy With God this Author was able to give the child of her past a voice after she found healing for her damaged heart in the arms of God! The process of taking a journey with God of how to escape the clutches of the thoughts that held her captive long after the damage and abuse was over needed to be addressed. The transformation of her life began when she encountered God as Jehovah Shammah - the Present One! She began the process of Spiritual transformation of becoming more Christ-like. Accomplished by learning what the ways of God were in contrast to the ways of mankind! Meditating on God's ways and listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. As my love and understanding deepened for God and His Ways - I was able to stop blaming and being angry at God for the Terrors and Traumas endured in my life. We were born with a FREE Will and we often exercise that freedom in base and evil ways! For God to remain God the choice to do evil or good must remain in the heart of each and every human being! The vulnerable suffer at the hands of the predator but God watches over the vulnerable and uses what was done for evil and our destruction to make it all work out for our good! This cannot be understood with the natural human mind but in the supernatural mind of God imparted to each one who will receive the free gift of Salvation. This journey became the birthing room for "The One Heart Series" drawn out of Jeremiah 32:39 "and I have given to them one heart, and one way, to fear Me all the days, for good to them, and to their sons after them:" Take the journey and heal the damaged heart!
