Dionne Lee Nelson

Dionne Lee Nelson has many talents, but writing has always been the closet passion to her heart. Dionne has been writing since the age of 7. Inspired by the urban life that surrounded her, she usually wrote about her own personal experiences. In school, Dionne would allow the others students to read her works. To much of her surprise the students begged to read more. At the age of 10, Dionne won the 1995 D.A.R.E award for their Resist Drugs and Violence campaign. Due to her love of 1930's and 40's gangster films, Dionne released her first book The Mafia Princess Diaries. She hopes her writings will capture a loyal fanbase so that she can showcase her unique style of writing out to the world. Dionne is currently working on The Mafia Princess Diaries 2.
