Hello,
Welcome to my Author Page here at Amazon.com.
Originally from China, a Seattleite for three decades now, I have been writing for a number of years, with five books published, three in English and two in Chinese, along with numerous articles, including op-eds and commentaries, in regional and local publications.
You can see the three English titles on this page.
The newest one was "My First Impression of China--Washingtonians' First Trips to the Middle Kingdom." It is a collection of 35 first-trip-to-China stories from a group of prominent Washingtonians, including government, business, academic and community leaders. Their trips took place from 1973 to 2008, covering a dramatically changing China along with their changing perceptions about China. Published in 2014, the book celebrated 35 years of U.S.-China and Washington state-China relations.
For the two Chinese titles, however, you have to go to Amazon.cn:
"连接华州与中国--华盛顿洲中国交流理事会的故事," the Chinese version of "Connecting Washington and China--The Story of the Washington State China Relations Council."
"中国拂哓," a Chinese translation of China Dawn, a novel by the late Robert L. Duncan.
My last op-ed in the Seattle Times was "Silence in China again on 25th anniversary of Tiananmen," at this link: http://old.seattletimes.com/html/opinion/2023753336_wendyliuopedtiananmenanniversary04xml.html
My last op-ed in Crosscut was "Washington's ties to China might help it survive a trade war," at this link: https://crosscut.com/2019/01/washingtons-ties-china-might-help-it-survive-trade-war.
I have also started a column at Substack: Wen's Weekly Weibo Plus. You can find it here: https://wenliu.substack.com/
