Susan Yellin

Susan Yellin, Esq., was the founder of The Center for Learning Differences, a New York based nonprofit, and created its Life After High School programs, which have been attended by hundreds of students with learning differences, their parents, and their counselors.

She presently serves as the Director of Advocacy and Transition Services at the Yellin Center for Mind, Brain, and Education, founded by her husband, pediatrician Dr. Paul Yellin, which provides multi-disciplinary evaluations of students who struggle with learning.

Mrs. Yellin is a graduate of Cornell University and the Boston University School of Law and has been a practicing New York attorney for more than 25 years. It was the difficulties she and her husband encountered with their one of their own children that led her to leave her job at a law firm and concentrate her efforts on helping other families find information and resources for children with special learning needs.
