Graeme Daniels is a psychoanalyst, has been a practicing psychotherapist for thirty years, working extensively with groups, individuals, and families on matters ranging from addictions, to depression, to cross-generational divides. He has previously written academic articles pertaining to addictions, group process, disorders of the self, and psychoanalytic training. His books Getting Real About Sex Addiction and An Analyst in Training are published by Bloomsbury. He is also the winner of the Lee Jaffe prize awarded by the American Psychoanalytic Association for his paper, "Treatment of an Alcoholic with Substitute Addictions"
