Joan Koerber-Walker

Joan Koerber-Walker (1960 - ) is the founder and Chairman of the Board of CorePurpose, Inc. As an author, she shares with audiences the lessons, skills, and experiences she has gathered from her days as a corporate executive within a global Fortune 500 company, through her journey into the world of entrepreneurship, and also in the world of angel investment, venture capital, and community leadership. A two-time national finalist for the Stevie Award for Women in Business, Koerber-Walker makes her home in Phoenix, Arizona and travels the world helping companies solve today's challenges and capitalize on future opportunities. Her first book, "Working: A Managment Tale of Changing Relationships and Changing times" tracks three generations of the Working family as they look to growth the next generation of leaders. Her second book, "Connecting Resources", is a college text book for the electronic distribution industry and was co-authored with Laurie Kane Sellers and Ben Zoghi. In addition to being a global executive who has circled the world over 20 times and an active advocate for entrepreneurial leadership and innovation. When not writing, she's a speaker, an investor, a popular blogger, and an avid Hockey Mom who was using the analogy of why that kind of passion and detmination matters, long before the phrase became a political sound bite.
