Scott Leckie

Scott Leckie is the director and founder of Displacement Solutions, an organisation dedicated to resolving cases of displacement caused by climate change and conflict. He also founded and directs Oneness World, an institution dedicated to developing more democratic forms of global governance grounded in world citizenship built on the principle of Jus Gaia. He is also founder of the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions, an organisation he headed from 1991-2005. He has advised more than 20 United Nations agencies on various housing, land and property (HLP) rights and has worked on human rights issues in more than 80 countries on all continents. He has taught at several law schools around the world and currently teaches a course on climate displacement and human rights at the law school of Monash University.
