Cindi Clarke

Growing up a military brat gave Cindi Clarke-Summerlin a love for travel and books that only grew stronger as she became an adult. Her love for reading began when her first "friends" were the books in the library each time her family moved to a new base. That turned into a love for writing and her first "stories" were newsletters that she sent to her family and friends, detailing the events in her life and the adventures of her pets.

"Trooper's Run" is Cindi's second book and her first work of fiction. Her first book, written under a pen name, told the story of how she helped her dog overcome the abuse inflicted upon him by her ex-husband and his son, and in the process dealt with the abusers in her own past.

While living in Florida with her pets Cindi enjoyed traveling to Europe on river cruises, touring the Rhine and Danube, and also spent time in Alaska in both the spring and winter while researching locations for "Eagle Visions," the sequel to "Trooper's Run."

Currently living in Michigan, Cindi is working on a third novel set in the rural beauty of the Upper Peninsula.
