Brenda was born in Baltimore, MD, She is a Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity (MSBT). She began her professional career as an elementary school teacher and went on to get her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in NY. In 1986, she began to apply her social work training in working with a variety of faith-based organizations struggling to identify their mission in changing times.
Brenda has worked with Faith-based groups in twenty-six countries as both a consultant in human systems development and a facilitator of group process.
Her religious congregation is part of a larger group called the Missionary Cenacle Family. It is 'family' in the Church and consists of a congregation of priests and brothers, a lay group, and a group of women who take private vows. The Family also supports a lay volunteer group.
Brenda loves to cook (but not necessarily clean up) She also enjoys nature and science. She is an avid reader and a Mac fan!
