Emily Adler

Emily Adler, co-author of Sweet 15, was born and raised in New York City. She is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has a Masters in Theater from Hunter College. Her many jobs while writing books, plays and screenplays have included: video store and kosher bakery clerk, conference organizer, production assistant, preschool, ESL, acting and playwriting teacher, and Artistic Director of a peer education program at New Jersey City University. She is also a sometime actress, having appeared on the New York stage in Blessings, Godspell and Four Dogs and a Bone.
