Abby Gail

Abby Gail is the author of her first book, Trees of Righteousness, which takes you through an experience in learning the Scriptures through a potpourri of poetry and biblical reflections. This book speaks of the Creator's divine loving character and feeds your desire to know more about Him, as well as stories and lessons from the Bible.

In the category of poetry, Abby Gail was recognized as 1ST PLACE winner of the Spring 2009 Christian Choice Book Awards for "Trees of Righteousness."

A native of Baltimore, MD, Abby Gail received an Associates degree from Baltimore City Community College in Legal Assistance, Bachelors Degree from Coppin State College in Criminal Justice, and Masters Degree from Morgan State University in Transportation Management.

Abby Gail served as an officer in the Baltimore Police Department. She worked uniform patrol, community relations, and youth intervention programs. She was Coordinator of the Law Enforcement Explorers Program, served as Youth Service Officer, P.A.T.H.S. instructor (police and teachers helping students), provided services to the community as Neighborhood Community Relations Officer and was a member of the hostage/crisis negotiation team most of her career.

Prior to law enforcement, Abby Gail was a stenographer for the Maryland Attorney General's Office, legal secretary for the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, secretary for ACTION, (an umbrella agency for the Foster Grandparents and the Peace Corps Programs), claims adjuster for Maryland Department of Human Resources, and payroll clerk for Provident Hospital.

Abby Gail currently resides in Georgia.
