Scott R. Furlong

Scott Furlong is the Provost/VPAA and professor of political science and public affairs at the State University of New York at Oswego. His areas of expertise are regulatory policy and interest group participation in the executive branch. He is co-author of Public Policy: Politics, Analysis, and Alternatives (with Michael Kraft) and Rulemaking: How Government Agencies Write Law and Make Policy (with Cornelius Kerwin). His articles appear in journals such as Public Administration Review, the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Administrative Studies Quarterly, and Policy Studies Journal. He has taught course in Public Policy, Regualtory Policy, American Government and Politics, Administrative Law, and Public/Nonprofit Management.
