Julie Oswin

Julie is an Author, Photographer and the Editor and Creator of Creative Light, the magazine for The Guild of Photographers, a Photography Mentor and trainer (website: www.julieoswintraining.com).

In 2013 Julie was the fourth woman in the UK to be awarded a Fellowship in Wedding Photography by the BIPP and a Master Craftsman with The Guild of Photographers. Contemporary Wedding Photography, a concept by Publisher and Book Illustrator Angie Patchell of emergingART. Several months of planning, the book was compiled with Angie's direction and guidance during 2005, published the following year in December 2006. Big thanks to both Angie and Cathy Joseph (Copy Editor) for all their hard work pulling the book together. The front cover of the book 'Contemporary Wedding Photography', has become known affectionately as 'wuthering heights'. The image was very successful winning numerous awards with the BIPP, Fuji, PTO and the MPA's UK Classical Wedding Photographer of the Year (1999).
