Lance Hardy

Lance Hardy is the author of Stokoe, Sunderland and '73, which was shortlisted for Football Book of the Year at the British Sports Book Awards and nominated for the British Society of Sports History Literary Prize, and editor of Tales from the Red & Whites, a series of books about Sunderland AFC. He also co-authored Interesting, with Steve Davis, which was shortlisted for Autobiography of the Year at the British Sports Book Awards and made the Sunday Times bestsellers list, plus other critically acclaimed autobiographies with Bobby George and Kelly Smith. His television credits include editor of Football Focus, Final Score, Match of the Day and Late Kick Off for BBC Sport, The Cricket Show for Sky Sport in New Zealand, and the Paralympics for Channel 4. He has worked at six World Cups and four Olympic Games.
