Sam Tranum

Originally from Massachusetts, I have worked as a staff reporter at the Charleston Daily Mail, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and Energy Intelligence, and as an editorial consultant at The Statesman in Kolkata. I have also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Turkmenistan, and taught journalism at the American University of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan and The Statesman Print Journalism School in Kolkata. I have a B.A. from Antioch College in Ohio, and an M.A. in international relations from the University of Chicago. I'm married and I live in Dublin, Ireland. There's more about me at samtranum.com.
