Christine Husom

Christine Husom has created and written and created stories since age six, and realized her dream of getting published in 2008. Husom served with the Wright County Sheriff’s Department and trained with the St. Paul, MN Police Department where she gained firsthand knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures.

She is a national bestselling author and pens the Winnebago County Mysteries; suspense-filled police procedurals set in central Minnesota and include Murder In Winnebago County, Buried In Wolf Lake, An Altar By The River, The Noding Field Mystery, Secret In Whitetail Lake, Firesetter In Blackwood Township, Remains In Coyote Bog, and Death To The Dealers.

She also writes the Snow Globe Shop Mysteries, character-driven cozies set in Minnesota, that include Snow Way Out, The Iced Princess, Frosty the Dead Man, and Cold Way To Go

Husom has stories in six anthologies, wrote a collaborative novel with eight other authors, and co-edited Festival of Crime for Nodin Press.

She's been nominated for many book awards and was a finalist in the Midwest Book Award for Death To The Dealers. She has moderated and sat on author panels at Malice Domestic, Bouchercon, Left Coast Crime, and Killer Nashville, and with the Twin Cities Sisters in Crime. Husom is a member of Mystery Writers of America, the National Sisters in Crime, and active with the Twin Cities Sisters in Crime. She loves meeting readers at a variety of venues.
