Anthony J. Solloway

Anthony J. Solloway, British, read German Language Studies and Linguistics at the University of Brighton, after which he took up a postgraduate scholarship at the University of Durham, where he studied Language Acquisition. He taught English as a Foreign Language in England, the People's Republic of China, and then Hong Kong, where he built up a wide - and quite possibly unique - range of experience, teaching at primary, secondary, and tertiary level, as well as in the private sector. Anthony, who has also worked as an educational London tour guide and in publishing as an EFL editor, recently completed two years at a tertiary institution in Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman, and is presently engaged as a lecturer in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, and is also currently in the throes of writing his second book, an examination of the global ESL industry. After having travelled to and spent time in some twenty countries, he now shares his time between the UAE, Hong Kong, and Great Britain.
