David Lee McMullen

David Lee McMullen is a writer and historian. He is a native Floridan who began his career as a newspaper journalist, moved to government as a cabinet level speechwriter and media spokesperson, before becoming a public relations executive, working for a variety of national and international organizations. After more than 25 years, he abandoned Corporate America and returned to academia to earn a doctorate in history from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland -- one of the oldest universities in the English speaking world. Currently, he teaches at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg and continues to write in a variety of genres.
