1974 to 1999 - Host of television programs for CKCO-TV, Kitchener, Ontario, programs: Tempo Ontario, The Johnnie Walters Show; Trivia Company.

1969 to 1973 - KTVI-TV St. Louis, Missouri, host Big Money Movie, upon which, according to Dave Thomas's book, SCTV: Behind the Scenes, the Dialing For Dollars sketches are based.

1964 to 1968 - Co-Hosted a daily 90 minute television program, with Vivienne Della Chiesa, Prima donna, Metropolitan Opera Company, on WLW-TV Cincinnati Ohio. The daily program however, was anything but operatic; gossipy daily talk show, given to huge emotional explosions.

1959 to 1967 - Drive time radio host on WHK Cleveland, the Metromedia rock and roll powerhouse, the radio station of the 1960's effecting the most change in American music. - Rolling Stones in the vestibule, the Beatles in the hall, all wanted aboard this most influential Cleveland radio station. Joe Ezterhaz's film "Telling Lies in America," based on the pop cultural effect of WHK.
