Sandy Hough Shepard

Sandy Hough Shepard was born and raised in Mount Shasta, California. Though never a hunter herself, she lived in a family of hunters, loved every story told and collaborated with her brother, Tom, to save the stories for others to enjoy. Her outdoor life consisted mainly of hiking and camping, some fishing, and snow skiing. Sandy is a retired teacher and now lives in Northern California with her husband, Jim, and Border collie, Lucy.
