Dawne has worked in many fields of writing from freelance journalism to advertising. She has been on the Los Angeles board of SCBWI (The society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators for over 10 years) and loves to work with children's authors and children who want to write. Dawne also writes for teens under her initials D.E. Knobbe (Double Moonbeam book award winner—Runaway Storm).
