Mimi Mathis

Mimi is a great-grandmother who began writing books after retiring from nursing. Her books are page-turners, clever, heartwarming, and alive. A few of her many creative family members co-authored and illustrated some of her books.

Mimi’s son, Shea, illustrated these timeless nursery rhymes. Her grandson, Simon, illustrated and co-authored the catchy and meaningful short story "Fishing with Joe" when he was ten.

Elise, one of Mimi’s granddaughters, co-authored the stories. Another granddaughter, Lilly, illustrated the stories. Mimi’s sister, Darene Bingham Loyd, drew the front cover.
