Indra Overland

Indra Overland is Research Professor and Head of the Energy Programme at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). He did his PhD at the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge and has since worked on Arctic, post-Soviet and Southeast Asian energy issues.

Overland has been awarded the Toby Jackman Prize, the Marcel Cadieux Prize, the Stuland Prize and co-authored the most cited article published by the Journal of Eurasian Studies.

He has been quoted in the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Associated Press, Bloomberg, Hokkaido Shimbun, Toronto Star, Het Financieele Dagblad, Radio Free Europe, the Diplomat, the Conway Bulletin, Dagens næringsliv, VG, Dagbladet and Mandag Morgen.
