Mary Freeman Boardman

Born and raised in Northport, Alabama, now living in Iowa, Mary penned her first book before she knew her ABCs. Of course, no one else could read it. After graduating high school, she spent time as a nurse in the U.S. Air Force and later returned to college studying photojournalism. She now writes full-time.
