Isabelle Merlin

Imagine a little girl growing up in a French family whose legendary history is full of amazing characters and spectacular, romantic and scary happenings. Imagine a teenager plunging deep into the wonderful Gothic romances of Charlotte Bronte and Rebecca du Maurier and the elegant exciting thrillers of Mary Stewart. Imagine a writer whose dual heritage of French and Australian makes her shuttle frequently between these countries she knows so well. And imagine when one day it all came together when the phrase 'careful what you wish for' came into her head.. and Isabelle Merlin was launched on her career.

Romantic, exciting, gripping and spooky, with a good dash of humour and food, and a pinch of something different, a strong Internet element in the form of character blogs, You Tube channels and websites, Isabelle Merlin's novels are like nothing you've read before.
