Carol Ferring Shepley

Carol Ferring Shepley graduated from Wellesley College, majoring in art history and English. She has written for Money, Time and Harper's Bazaar and is a former art critic for the St. Louis Post-Disptach and professor of art history. She is the author of Lori's Lessons: What Parkinson's Teaches about Life and Love, and Movers and Shakers, Scalawags and Suffragettes: Tales from Bellefontaine Cemetery. The former won the Independent Publisher Gold Medal for Best Regional Non-Fiction in 2009. Shepley and her husband have three daughters.
