Pamela’s strong desire and zeal to give Caribbean women writers a voice, has inspired her to pursue a career in writing stories from the Caribbean Diaspora. Pamela Marshall is a native of Kingston Jamaica who came to New York City in the late seventies and presently resides in Northern Virginia with her family. She holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from Howard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Accounting from City University of New York Baccalaureate Program. Barrel Child is her first novel to be followed by others.
