Graham Bleathman

Graham Bleathman is an illustrator who was born in 1959 and was at the right age to appreciate most of Gerry Anderson’s series the first time round. He started illustrating the series for fan magazines in the 1980s but is best known for producing ‘cutaway’ illustrations of the various vehicles and locations for Thunderbirds the Comic and its sister titles in the early 1990s. Over 15 books have been published so far, the most recent for Haynes Publishing, with subjects ranging from Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, plus others including Dan Dare and Wallace & Gromit!

Graham’s other work includes historical subjects alongside production art on animated releases of Doctor Who annd Dad’s Army episodes, and over 370 cover paintings for the People’s Friend magazine!
