Richard Farleigh is a former BBC Dragons' Den investor (the UK’s version of Shark Tank) and a seasoned entrepreneur who has backed over 100 startups. A survivor of the care system, Richard overcame early challenges to build a career spanning investment, finance, and academia.

With experience as a central banker in the research department, a fund manager specializing in macroeconomics and derivatives, and a two-time Chess Olympian, Richard brings a unique strategic mindset to both business and life. Holding a PhD and serving as a university chancellor, he is passionate about education, mentorship, and sharing insights on resilience, entrepreneurship, and investment.
